This is the lid for people who drink while moving. No flip cover, no straw: a moulded direct-drink spout stands at the top of the cap, you tip and drink, and the thread underneath carries the sealing ring that keeps the bottle watertight between sips. It is a replacement cap for outdoor insulated bottles, where the original lid has usually been lost or worn rather than broken.
The three photographs show the underside with the thread stack, the top with the drinking spout, and the side profile. Everything on this cap serves those two functions: drink from the top, seal from the bottom.

The direct-drink spout is a moulded cylindrical collar sized to the mouth, not a hole in a flat top. Its diameter decides the flow: too narrow and a hot drink is sipped in frustration, too wide and a moving vehicle turns every sip into a spill. The collar also raises the drink point above the cap body, which keeps the user’s nose away from hot steam at the rim.
The collar wall is one of the thicker sections on the part, which makes it a shrinkage risk at the junction with the dome. The transition is cored and ribbed so the wall steps down rather than piling up, and the junction is where first-article inspection looks for sink.

Multi-start thread runs deep around the skirt, and its engagement is what compresses the sealing ring against the bottle mouth. On an insulated bottle the conditions are worse than on a commuter cup: hot water raises the pressure inside, and outdoor use adds knocks and temperature swings that move every dimension slightly. The thread needs full form to hold clamp through all of it, which is why it is moulded rather than trimmed and why the seal seat is a moulded groove with a defined cross-section.
Thread release from the core decides the tooling. A deep, full-form thread usually means an unscrewing mechanism; the alternative, a jump-off form, saves tool cost but only works where the application tolerates a shallower flank. We size this with the customer before the tool is quoted, because it changes both price and cycle time.

The round plug set into the flank of the dome closes an access point used during assembly of the finished cap assembly. On the replacement part it is simply moulded in place, flush with the dome, and its presence is a reminder that the cap is one component in an assembly: features that look decorative often exist to serve a manufacturing step, and removing them without understanding why they are there breaks the assembly line downstream.
Thread form and torque window, gauged with the actual bottle mouth. Seal integrity with hot water, the vessel laid on its side and left to stand. Spout diameter and collar roundness, since both affect the drink directly. Colour and surface against the approved master.
Kunshan Maifeng Precision Industry Co., Ltd. reviews drinkware closure designs before quoting, builds the injection molds in house, and molds single-color and dual-color parts on 36 machines from 90 to 700 tons. Send us the bottle mouth drawing and the spout requirement, and we will come back with a feasibility comment and a tooling proposal.
